Potbelly

Potbelly Sandwich Works is a restaurant chain specialising in freshly made sandwiches and was founded in 1977 in Chicago, USA. Its name is derived from potbelly stoves common in the late 19th century which the restaurant’s founder used to restore as a hobby. 

The first store was opened in retail space which had been previously occupied by an antiques store and many of these items were used to decorate and furnish the restaurant and today, the design of each new store reflects the style and heritage of Potbelly’s beginnings.
